Hand
Thumb Osteoarthritis
Hand and thumb osteoarthritis is the second most common type of arthritis. Is has a major impact on activities of daily living like opening a door, using the phone, cooking, and writing.
The current treatment options are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and pain killers that come with a lot of side effects, or a steroid injection that provides temporary relief but damages the joint. Current surgical options are not very effective at relieving pain or restoring function.
Our procedures preserve function and mobility and decrease pain with minimal side effects.
We specialise in helping people with hand arthritis. Our unique team approach and outpatient Cell Therapy procedures may help reduce your pain and restore your hand function.
